Dreamin'
What if your dream horse came into your life belonging to someone else? The color you wanted...the build you wanted...the talent you wanted...the personality you wanted. Would you be happy, or jealous, or a little of both?
What if you were busy living your life and he was more than you could ever spend on a horse, but you got to ride him, for free?
What if the more you got to know him, the more you loved him and then you had to stop riding him because he was going to go showing with someone else?
What if you didn't get to see him again for awhile? Would you be able to just fuggedaboutit--sorta like a high school romance, great and dramatic, but burnt out and over.
What if you could have him, at your house, indefinitely...but he was too lame to ever jump again and might not become sound?
What if your husband said, "That's why we built three stalls." :)
Pinch me...I think I'm dreaming...

How wonderful for you, and what a great husband, too!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting, I'll have to check yours out when I have more than half a minute before I have to cook dinner:) We DO have a lot in common, including the books we read! I homeschool my boys as well, we are trying to go the classical route, lots of Latin and logic in this house. I;m wondering which comment you liked of mine at Behind the Bit? The tattoo one? Yeah, that's just too weird. I love my horses and all, but I wouldn't even tattoo my kids' name on myself, and I certainly don't want to explain to everyone that asks what it is "uh yeah, this is my horse's registration number." I think even tattoo addicts would think I was a little off. Good to "meet" another like minded blogger, and if you have tattoos, sorry for my previous comments, my husband has one too and I still love him;)
Wow - love this dream horse and the husband who built 3 stalls!!
*Pinch*
And don't forget to hug that wonderful husband...and your handsome horse.
